Improve the life of your board with better maintenance

Exceptionally strong and resilient to most dings your Carbon Art board is made to provide you with years of service. However no board is indestructible and even our boards can be damaged if you really try hard enough!

To keep your board in top performance order here are a few recommendations:

• Dings
  ... if you manage to damage your board somehow make sure you fix it with an EPOXY based product NOT a polyester resin. For a quick fix repair you can use an epoxy based 2 part stick (available at any hardware store) that can be applied by hand and sets in 5 mins. Products such as Solarez or Araldite are other 5 minute repair options.
• Gore-Tex® Vent
  Pretty simple here, DO NOT TAMPER WITH YOUR VENT. Longboard and SUP models come with Gore-Tex® vent plugs installed. These are self breathing vents that allow the larger sized boards to release any heat build up.
  For the shorter boards without vent plugs follow the advice below.
• Heat/pressure
  Don't cook your board. Though very tasty looking we do not recommend sticking them in the oven. If in hot countries this simply means don't leave you board inside your closed up vehicle unprotected on a blazing hot day (and the same goes for your dog).
• The 1,000 Check
  After every 1,000 waves we recommend giving your board a well deserved clean up. Scrape off the old wax, give it a clean and shine while admiring its fine curves. Once that's done give it a fresh wax job and get back out there
